Barrington 4th of July Parade - Registration and Sponsorship! 
The Barrington 4th of July Parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2013. This year’s Parade theme is “America - Land of Hopes and Dreams” and “Homegrown in Barrington”, highlighting that for many of our students, the opportunity to explore creative ideas, follow passions and achieve success begins right here in Barrington. In addition to the parade, the committee will host an Essay and Poster Contest with Barrington area school children, and the annual Food Drive. All donations will be given to the Barrington and Cuba Township food pantries to benefit local neighbors in need. To participate in the Parade, please visit the website at www.BarringtonParade.com. The registration form is available on line. Fill in the form and return it with the appropriate entry fee. Barrington Running Co has Fun Runs every Saturday morning at 8AM in the summer. This is a great way to connect with local runners. The distance is 3-7 miles, and all paces are welcome! Barrington Art Festival – Memorial Day weekend, May 25 & 26, 2013
Amdur Productions proudly kicks off its 30th season with the Barrington Art Festival on Memorial Day weekend. FREE and open to the public, the Barrington Art Festival will offer the work of 120 juried artists from around the world in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, photography, watercolors, wood and more.
In addition to the incredible artwork available for purchase at the festival, guests will be able to enjoy live music throughout the weekend. See the latest videos here and here. Memorial Day Parade - Monday, May 27
Join Barrington residents and members of the Barrington VFW at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 28, for the annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade kicks off at Cook and Main Streets and will end at Evergreen Cemetery with a short service to commemorate U.S. men and women who gave their lives while in military service to their country. Unite with friends and neighbors for this solemn occasion.
Barrington Beautification - May 27 - September 2
Beautification committee members of the Council of Barrington Garden Clubs will be observing local business sites from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Awards for garden design excellence will be presented to businesses selected at the September 11th. Council of Barrington Garden Clubs meeting. The members of our clubs recognize the time, effort and commitment these gardening efforts take and want to formally acknowledge how much we all appreciate the beauty these designs add to the entire Barrington area.

Cruise Nights Celebrates 10 Seasons in Barrington!

Please join the entire Barrington community to raise funds for the American Cancer Society by making or joining a team. We will have fun activities for kids & adults and great entertainment starting at 6:00 p.m. The event concludes at 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Fun for the entire family!
